I had a wonderful stay at Cottage Heights B&B in Castletownbere. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with great quality and plenty of choice. The host was warm and welcoming, always ready with helpful tips about the area. The location is perfect, with beautiful views and just a short walk from the town. I would definitely stay here again

I couldn't have had a better stay. I had a warm and friendly welcome from Mary. She was very helpful and knowledgeable with the town and travel information that I needed. This is a great location for travelling around this area of the world. Top notch accommodation. Breakfast was 5☆, with more than enough options of choice. This is a feel of a homely b&b at a reasonable price. 10/10

My nanny used to run a b&b years ago and it was like waking up in her b&b it was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and very helpful the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was perfect. We both really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful b&b.

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer

I loved everything about my stay. The location was ideal, the room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. But what really stood out was our host, she goes above and beyond for her guests in a way that you just don’t see often anymore. From making sure everyone was safe to helping with onward travel plans and even arranging accommodation for those in need, her genuine care, humour, and hard work made the stay unforgettable.

We had the most wonderful stay at this traditional Irish Cottage Heights bed and breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed by Mary, the owner and manager, and her fantastic team. They were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The bedrooms were immaculately clean, bright, and very comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, which made our stay so relaxing. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide range of delicious options to suit everyone — the perfect start to our day. The location is truly breathtaking, with panoramic views of Bear Island and Castletownbere Bay that made our stay unforgettable. This bed and breakfast is a gem. Between the warm hospitality, spotless rooms, excellent food, and stunning views, it deserves more than five stars — a full ten stars from us. We would highly recommend it and cannot wait to return!

It's not too fancy, but the place is nice and comfy.

Nice place on a good location. We received great suggestions from the owner when we asked for a small hike. The coffee served with the breakfast was amazing. One of the best coffee we've had during our trip. Great place to stay.

Great location with beautiful views. Mary was very hospitable. A lovely room and great breakfast as I am vegetarian. Lovely Irish music softly playing at breakfast . I walked to the property which took around 15 minutes from the town.
