A modern home with outstanding decor and design. Very comfortable rooms, fabulous en-suite facilities. Breakfast was to a Michelin star standard, wonderful spread. Mo our hostess was great company and helped us get everything out of our stay locally. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend this highly enough.

We had just travelled from a stay in a 5-star hotel in East Cork when we arrived to stay at Leaba. Without a doubt, Leaba was superior to our hotel experience. That's quite an achievement but it's true. Thank you, Mo, for such a wonderful stay!

Absolutely nothing - their 10/10 rating is completely deserved.

Recipe for a perfect stay: Take a five-star accommodation, add amazingly welcoming hosts and a wonderful location and season it with delicous cooking and baking :-) Our stay at Leaba was the highlight of our holiday. First of all we were swept off our feet by the fabulous view over the bay, then we were touched by the fantastic warm welcome from Mo who provided tea and her delicious home-baked ginger cake. Our room upstairs was simply lovely (as was the rest of the house) and showed Mo's amazing attention to detail. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and provided us with the perfect start to the day; when we returned, there was even a nightcap waiting for us. Mo provided us with lots of useful information on where to go and what to see, which we were very grateful for. She and Vinnie are the best hosts you could imagine and could not have made us feel more welcome. They were so kind to us and went above and beyond the call of duty to help track down some old contacts in Portmagee. We were so sorry to leave and would go back there at the drop of a hat!

Nothing, we should have stayed longer.

The location is perfect for exploring the ring of Kerry, Sheep’s and Mizen head, partly visible from the comfortable lounge overlooking Bantry Bay. Mo is a super host, warm and welcoming and full of good suggestions. The fabulous breakfast tops it off.

The host Mo (and Vinny) was exceptional and this is an outstanding property. It is a short drive from the village with excellent views. The hosts were exceptionally generous and we enjoyed the company of them and the other guests. Breakfasts were home made or provided by local suppliers and we received very good advice on which local attractions to visit.

Having to leave! There is nothing not to like.

From the minute we arrived we felt like we were at home. Mo is truly one in a million - giving us a genuine warm welcome, fabulous tips about places to visit during our stay and looking after our every need. The house is extremely well appointed, super clean and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was superb with fresh juice, lots of different local cheeses and cold meats as well as fruit, yoghurt, home made granola and delicious scones with jam as well as a cooked sharing plate. The location was very easy to find and 5 minute drive to good shops and eateries at Glengariff. This was by a country mile the best stay of our trip. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything.

Our five-day stay at the beautiful Leaba B&B exceeded expectations. It’s in a wonderful setting with comfortable furnishings and modern fixtures throughout. Our second floor bedroom with ensuite was spacious, full of amenities and had very comfortable beds. The proprietors, Mo & Vin, are excellent hosts. Mo is outgoing, warm, and very knowledgeable. She will happily answer questions, offer suggestions and do whatever she can to make you feel at home. The Leaba's charming open plan kitchen and communal dining area is the heart of the home and where Mo greets you each morning with her passionately prepared breakfast including home baked goods, a variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, granola, yogurt as well as hot items served on sharing plates. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Mo is possibly the best host in Ireland. Leaba is truly a gem. We felt like being home during our three-night-stay. We had a bit of a cold during our stay and Mo delivered fantastic fresh Lemon-Ginger-Honey-Tea. Breakfast was very creative and super tasty. Keep it up, Mo!

This is a very, very special B&B experience. We loved everything about our stay at Leaba B&B, from Mo’s warm welcome, our beautiful, well appointed room facing the bay and beyond and the absolutely amazing breakfast. Mo and Vinnie’s home is lovely with a separate wing for guests and a huge open kitchen and dining area all facing the water. There was a Nespresso-like coffee maker in the room with coffee pods replenished daily, along with crisps and Lorge chocolate from the region. The bathroom includes hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion all from the region. There is a rain shower with plenty of hot water to enjoy at the end of a busy day exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Mo is a huge promoter of West Cork, not only places to explore but also regional produce which she includes in her massive breakfast spread. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience Leaba B&B.

We had a superb experience at Leaba. Our very comfortable upstairs room had a bonus mezzanine sitting area outside it but we barely used it as we were always made welcome in the huge beautiful open plan sitting room / kitchen by our wonderful hosts who made us feel like old friends rather than paying guests. It is in a very good location minutes from Glengarriff with very fine views of the coast. The delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of fresh quality ingredients both hot and cold served with the flair of a talented cook will be unforgettable. We hope to stay again soon.

Absolutely spectacular!!! hands down my best bed and breakfast stay for my travels. The kindness and genuine hospitality Mo and Vinny share from the moment you arrive, day in and day is what made the stay so special and memorable. The house is beautiful, rooms are clean and comfortable with a style that is chic, elegant and unique. The ocean view is stunning and picturesque. To truly feel as welcomed as my niece and I both felt is what a holiday is all about and will be forever remembered. Thanks to both of you for an amazing stay! We will miss the best breakfast and will be dreaming about it.

There is NOTHING that could've improved our stay. Mo was such a lovely generous host who provided such a memorable experience in our visit to Ireland.

The location of Leaba was scenic with the view over the bay. The sunsets were stunning. The whole time with Mo at Leaba was a lovely sensory experience. The bedroom was beautifully furnished and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING! The presentation was so beautiful and inviting. Mo provided the opportunity to enjoy the local Irish products: cheeses, meats, breads. Fresh homemade croissants, mackerel pate, muesli, and frittata were available. In addition, eggs, asparagus and grilled tomatoes were served. It was such an unexpected and beautiful experience to start the day. We are SO grateful for everything that Mo did to make our stay so memorable.

The only thing we disliked was that we are not permanently there.

The most generous hosts we have ever encountered, truly focused on enhancing each guest’s interests. The breakfasts were a culinary delight. We are accustomed to small breakfasts but ate a huge amount here as everything was over the top delicious. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The home was an art feast for our eyes.
