Nothing...really nothing at all!

Ahmad and Ronnie! They were exceptional hosts, eager to attend to our needs. They went above and beyond our expectations by providing a ride to and from the local restaurant where we had dinner. We enjoyed our conversations with them, and their absolutely beautiful home! Lastly, we got our dog fix with their playful Goldendoodles George and Teddy! 😀

Not as central as anticipated.

The host Ronnie was friendly, generous and a great cook. He made us a delicious whiskey and gingerale in the evening and a huge full Irish breakfast.

Very impressive place and such lovely owners. We could have stayed longer here. The town of Cobh was one of our favourites and Oakhurst Guesthouse raised the bar. Amazing breakfast too.

Everything! We liked everything! Ronnie was the perfect host. From the warm greeting, to the welcome beverage, Oakhurst was a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was amazing. We were served in the conservatory, with a beautiful view over Cobh. Finest ingredients, exquisitely presented, with all the condiments and extras that you could want to heighten the flavours of your chosen meal. The bed was so comfortable, we slept soundly. I have to mention George and Teddy. Two beautiful golden doodles (Groodles). As dog lovers, we made instant friends. You must stay here. Must.

We loved everything about our stay from the facilities, very large bedroom, great comfortable lounge area and the beautiful sun room where our our delious breakfast was served. Our hosts were delightful, easy to talk to and fun. We were greeted by Ronnie who I must say is the best host that we have ever met in our extensive travels. Would give it a 11 rating if we could.

Our visit was just too short

The host, Ronnie, was so courteous and friendly and a wealth of knowledge on where and what to do in Cobh. Though we only had 1 night here. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the drink in the lounge to our room and the incredible breakfast. No attention to detail was missed. Can not say enough about the quality, scope, and taste of our breakfast. If you get the chance stay here.

Oakhurst Guesthouse was a little gem, a beautiful home. We were greeted by Ronnie , who went out of his way to welcome us and make us comfortable . We had a comfortable room and ensuite. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious and beautifully set up in the orangery. We had a lovely stay.

We loved everything!

Everything about Oakhurst was exceptional, from our first communication with Ronnie to the beautiful guest room and genuinely warm hospitality of our hosts. The location of the guesthouse is ideal for exploring the area and both the house and property are gorgeous. The linens were of excellent quality, breakfast was amazing and served in a stunning room with huge windows. The common area for guests was absolutely lovely. The 2 golden doodles, George and Teddy were so friendly and a huge bonus for us dog lovers! We really enjoyed everything about our stay with Ronnie and Arman, especially getting to know them.

We felt so very welcomed upon arrival by the owners. Loved chatting with them. They are wonderful. They assisted us with reservations for our dinner. Treated us so kindly. Their home is beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. I could go on and on about the breakfast Ronnie made for us. It was absolutely fantastic. My only disappointment related to our stay there was having to leave.
