From the moment we arrived at John and Mary's charming B&B in Ardgroom, we felt right at home. Tucked away in a picturesque villages on the Beara Peninsula, this little spot is everything you’d hope for in an Irish getaway — cozy, peaceful, and full of heart. John and Mary are the perfect hosts: warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, from the welcome drinks on arrival to the helpful tips on nearby walks and sights. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely mix of traditional charm and modern comfort. Mary was a delightful host and cooked us amazing breakfast each morning while accommodating my dietary restrictions with aplomb! Whether you're exploring the Ring of Beara, hiking in the hills, or just enjoying the quiet beauty of the countryside, this B&B is the perfect base. We had a wonderful stay at Sea Villa with John and Mary, an amazing couple and perfect hosts. From the warm welcome drink to the delicious breakfast, every detail was spot on. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel truly at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with them.

There are a few B&Bs I'd stay in again and Sea Villa is now one of those. Fabulous B&B on the Beara Peninsula. Very quiet and comfortable. Lovely friendly owners who even provided welcome drinks. A great breakfast with lots of choice and a lovely cove to swim in near by.

The friendliest hosts you'll ever meet, like being welcomed by old dear friends and they'd do anything for you. Very clean room with exceptionally comfortable beds, like sleeping on a cloud, and the breakfast, oh the breakfast!!!

No seaview, but it's 5 min walk both sides to pier and strand for swim.

Everything was great! I was looking for peace and quiet and got more than expected. It's like mini boutique hotel. Short walk to the strand or pier for swim. Freshly picked food for dinner, generous portions. Drinks available, what else to ask for. Had best sleep over long time. Would definitely visit again.

Thanks Mary and John, we loved our time at your beautiful house. The landscape was stunning and the rooms have the perfect view as well super comfortable furnishings. We watched the sun set and listened to the wind singing over the hills before getting the best night’s sleep we have had in ages. We had a great laugh and a fabulous breakfast, really warm hosts that also give you space and perfect advice. walked down to the mussel farms and everyone either working the farms or on the road had a friendly wave for the obvious tourist : ) highly recommended.

The host were amazing! We got in late after a long day driving, John greeted us in the drive to help with our things, the rooms were beautiful and comfy, felt like coming home. We had a fabulous home cooked breakfast in the am along with great conversation. Sea villa is a perfect off the beaten track, tucked away gem. A true taste of Ireland by the sea😎highly recommend!

My fiancée and I spent one night at Sea Villa. Mary and John are excellent hosts - welcoming and easy to talk to. The homemade mussels and stew for dinner were delicious; so was breakfast. We were spoiled. The room was clean and comfortable. Beara really is a hidden gem. The view from the pier just down from their home was one of our favourites in Ireland (and we lived there for 5 years). Highly recommended!

Mary & John looked after us so well, rooms are modern and well appointed, dinner was divine especially the mussels caught fresh that morning, breakfast was to order and the perfect start to our day after a stunning sunrise over the hills and pier! We really enjoyed exploring the area and will be back as there is so much to see and do.

Basically we loved everything. Road to and from accommodation needed a little care in terms of driving. Food available in nearby village can't be recommended so may be necessary to go further. John and Mary's recommendation for second night was top class.

Owners John and Mary very outgoing, hospitable and interesting. Nothing was a problem and there was the ability to make people feel at ease. Really lovely people and great conversationalist.

Absolutely nothing

The location was serene and quiet. Mary gave great attention to detail. Both John and Mari were incredibly hospitable and made our trip. Absolutely perfect. Mari went out of her way to make us dinner as we were arriving later. The clam chowder was amazing as was breakfast salmon and eggs unbelievable.
