Beautiful house. The location is great, making Baltimore,Bantry and Kenmare all within easy reach. Breakfasts were fantastic. .Good options for evening meals nearby in Glanmore or locally in the village.

We had a wonderful stay at Shearwater Country House Accommodation. Adela is a fantastic host, warm and welcoming in every way. The views from the B&B are absolutely stunning, and the breakfast was delightful, with fresh fruits and delicious salmon pâté. We only stayed one night, which certainly wasn’t enough, and we would love to return.

Everything was great - we like a hot breakfast but were aware only continental was being offered when booking, not sure if this is permanent or temporary.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting - great for exploring West Cork. Adela was a great host and the property was very comfortable for our three night stay. We enjoyed the views from the balcony.

Gorgeous views of the sea from Shearwater. Spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was bright and airy. Hostess couldn't do enough for us .She was warm, friendly, and very helpful. Within walking distance of 2 lovely gastro pubs. Comfortable indoor and outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the sea view. Continental breakfast did not disappoint, another reflection of the hostesses attention to quality and detail.. Mary

Received a warm welcome from Adela. The house and room were beautiful comfortable and extremely clean. We had a very nice stay just wish it was longer. The breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

That was my second time in Shearwater and I absolutely loved it. I went with my daughter to rewind after a stressful time and we couldn't choose a better place. Adela is a lovely host the house is beautiful and extremely clean. Delicious breakfast. Hopefully we will be back again.

Fantastic location, scenic views and walking distance to local village. The hostess was super helpful and friendly. The property was maintained at a very high standard with exquisite taste in decor. Breakfast , though not cooked but continental, had all the elements to fulfill and satisfy. Exceptional value for money.

Everything was perfect!

Shearwater Country House is run by the charming and friendly Adela. We were given a great welcome to her spotlessly clean property and nothing was too much of a problem. Her continental breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have sampled. It was presented as cornucopia off delicious treats! We would love to return when next in the area as the view from the property were amazing.
