The hosts were wonderful , so kind and hospitable, and the place was spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was provided, a full fridge, clean towels, and homemade bread, a comfortable bed and lovely hot water shower.

It's a little out of town so driving to restaurants and bars is essential.

Beautiful, well presented accommodation, we loved our short stay in the Brown Hen Guest House and wished we could have stayed longer. Gwyneth made us feel very welcome on arrival. The room is very nicely decorated and fitted out. Every detail has been thought about, so you are short of nothing. Lovely home-made bread accompanying assorted breakfast choice. It was our first ever night in Irland and it felt like a lovely treat at the start of our holiday. Thankyou

A little out of the way but as long as you have car it’s not an issue.

Beautifully decorated accommodation with everything we needed for our 3 nights. Nothing was too much trouble for our hostess. Extra touches like big white fluffy towels every day, homemade wheaten bread and carrot cake added to the stay. Very quiet location set in beautiful countryside.

It was a little small, especially the bathroom

The breakfast was well stocked. There was plenty of options. The bread and scones are home made, and fantastic. The hosts were very friendly. It's a working dairy farm, so you see and hear the cows all the time

Can’t think of anything!

Lovely studio with two b&b rooms in a peaceful rural location just outside Bandon. Breakfasts are self catered from a well stocked kitchen cupboard containing a fridge, microwave oven and a sink.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was perfect during our stay. The place was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive — we truly felt at home. The breakfast was generous, varied, and met every need — a great way to start the day! Beautiful garden room with kitchen facilities based in a lovely countryside location. 10 minutes drive from local restaurant . Hosts very welcoming and made us feel very much at home.

Absolutely lovely guest house. Stocked with everything you need and more. Gwenyth was delightful and very helpful. You WILL wish your stay was longer. Comfy bed, tasty breakfast, bathroom with all amenities you’ll ever need. Her husband gave us great travel information regarding the ferry.

The Brown Hen is a beautiful accommodation. We travelled for a wedding nearby and stayed here the night before. A few minutes into Bandon. Such a quiet area. Gwenyth is so lovely also. I loved the decor, the cosy space & the little surprise kitchen unit. Very compact and cosy overall! I would definitely stay again.

Everything was amazing!

Our little lodge really felt like our own. There was a small kitchen with a microwave, eggs, cereals, teas, coffees, and a fridge stocked with juices and sandwich fillings. Our bed was incredibly comfortable and the room cozy and beautifully decorated with fabulous views of the countryside. Our host, could not have been better. Present if needed, but not intrusive. Happy to share local recommendations. Out stay was brilliant all-round.

We liked everything!

Every little detail from a well stocked breakfast kitchenette to real orchids and a luxurious bed was lovingly prepared for our stay. We especially enjoyed the big sky countryside! Gwyneth is an amazing host and person!

It was hard to find the place...I found to another farm family and they escorted me to the Brown Hen...lovely people for sure :-)
