6 steps to get in, then 1 step into the lift. The lift is very small. Not great if you have a buggy and large suitcases.

The hotel is situated in a restricted traffic zone, making it very difficult to access by car. Fortunately, the hotel offers a valet service. The breakfast lacked variety and quality compared to expectations. The elevator is small, making it inconvenient, especially when travelling with luggage or during busy hours.

The location is truly unbeatable—right in the heart of Florence, just steps from the iconic Duomo. The room was cosy and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were professional and always ready to assist, making the stay feel genuinely welcoming.

Hotel rooms could be a problem for people with mobility issues (there are steep stairs between floors and inside of the room also). Pillow could be more thick.

Charming hotel in the heart of Florence. We had a lovely room with a view on Cathedral, it was amazing and made our stay unforgetable. Room was spacious, modern bathroom with bath tube, nice toiletries, cleaning was very thorough, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent (cereals, cheese, ham, croissant, cakes, jam, yaourt, coffee), but slightly boring if you stay for long time.. We appreciated mini fridge in the room.

The biggest advantage is location. It is just fine, when you want to stay very close to Duomo.

I like the doubled door for soundproofing because we stayed at the room near the breakfast buffet area and we cant hear the sounds from there..

This was a very nice surprise. Despite being in the dead centre of the city, it's quiet enough given the location. The view of the church was just perfect. The room was clean, large and comfortable.

Getting to the room is a little difficult definitely not for someone who has mobility issues. LOTS OF STAIRS. lighting of the staircase should be better. Breakfast was mediocre. Elevator as with all elevators in Italy are small but this one in particular was unnerving at times

Fantastic location. A few minutes from the beach and train station. Exceptionally clean with everything you need for your stay including welcome bottle of wine and Italian biscuits. Responsive and kind host. Huge outdoor area for outdoor dining and relaxing. Excellent wifi. Would stay again no hesitation. Monterosso is the best of the 5 lands to stay in.

The room wasn't very clean. Dusty picture rails, cobwebs and squashed mosquitos on the walls. There was also a small nail sticking out at the bottom of the doorway. It could be quite easy for a guest to stub a toe on it. I did point it out to the receptionist whilst she was showing us our room but it wasn't resolved during our visit. The air con was quite noisy and irrespective of temperature set it was always too cold as if the thermostat had failed. Breakfast was very basic. Yes we knew it would be a continental breakfast, which we love but felt it was too simple and not value for money. I have added photos to the review for proof of the issues, however they don’t always show up for same reason.

The location was spot on. We had seen this hotel on previous visits to Firenze and thought it would be nice to stay here.

Very minor negatives. Bed was nicely positioned by the A/C, which was needed to make sleeping comfortable, but it never seemed to disperse well throughout the rest of the room. Sink and shower water was consistently warm and actually struggled to get cold, which is likely great most of the time but was a struggle with the high temperature we dealt with.

Amazing location steps from the Duomo, with some rooms having a view of it, and centrally located to all the sites! Good variety breakfast and for a long time range. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even assisting with a restaurant reservation.
