How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very good place for the price (one of the cheapest I found when searching): - Nice front desk people and fast check-in and out - Room was clean and comfortable, with TV, microwave, fridge - Room exactly as shown in photos - Quiet at night and safe neighborhood - Very good location, 15 min away walking from Barranco downtown All around, a very good stay

The location is ok, but far from a lot of things. There is a small park close by.
Nice full apartment with all the amenities. They made a small mistake and made up for it. The staff is helpful

BATHROOM: good luck with that shower. Better not start washing your hair if it’s thick/long. The warm/hot water ran out halfway through and I had to finish with ice cold water in winter! BEDROOM: ok, so… I’ll make it short. One of the three blankets smelled of old sweat. Without it, it was too cold. With it, I couldn’t breathe. My solution was a having it up to my hips and try not to stir the blanket and “the smell.” WIFI: couldn’t be on the bed and browse. Only worked in the living room. And the wifi assigned to my room never showed up in the networks list… I used another room’s.
LOCATION: the best!!! Right at the end of Miraflores and the beginning of Barranco. Both areas are the safest and THE place to be. Walkable distance to everywhere! And still quiet enough for a good sleep, with a convenience store (TAMBO) right around the corner. CHECK-IN: great! Mrs. Espinoza replied promptly to inquiries and my room was ready at 8am though I had only dropped-by to leave my bags. Couldn’t have asked for more than sleeping after traveling 2 days! Thank you!! APARTMENT: You walk into the living room with kitchenette and dining table. The sofas aren’t really for sitting. I used them for my bags and clothes instead. Everything was super clean. BATHROOM: had face and bath towels, a hair dryer and a bum shower, which was handy! BEDROOM: bed had a firmness to my liking and many pillows!

We are a parent with 2 teenagers and it was nice to have a separate bedrooom , it was very clean and was probably the best breakfast we had all of our trip - it was extra $ but WORTH IT! It was nice to have a kitchenette but we found the refrigerator froze our drinks overnight

Breakfast was nice. The coffee not so. Very weak and milky! Sorry, but for us a good cup of strong coffee is a must in the mornings, and the milk , I pour it myself please. Unless it is a tasty cappuccino!
The staff were very attentions and helpful. The room was spacious, tradicional but comfortable! The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet! The shower was a bit on the weak side! Not very powerful. The courtyard is beautiful, full of plants, and hanging ferns! Very restful! The hotel is near lots of bars and restaurants. The surrounding area is very tidy, and it felt very safe for walks.

Four friends—two women and two men—stayed for just one night. The apartment was divided into three areas: the main space, which included a kitchen (with a microwave and gas stove), two single beds, a small sofa for two people, a dining table with chairs, and a TV; a separate bedroom with a double bed; and a bathroom with a lovely shower. Towels and cookware, including pans, were provided. The Barranco area is beautiful, vibrant, and safe for a night out. The hotel's location is excellent, with a supermarket nearby. Getting around with Uber was easy. We didn’t book breakfast, as the kitchen had a gas stove and pans, so we cooked our own meal and enjoyed it by the pool, where smoking is also allowed. The pool itself was amazing! Overall, a lovely experience. Shout-out to the wonderful reception staff for their fantastic recommendations on where to find great food and salsa dancing! Extra stars for keeping our luggage and bags safe for hours at no extra charge—truly appreciated!

The view from our room and the rooftop was a little
Really nice and comfortable room, plenty of space, kitchen and tvs for both beds. The rooftop was also cozy and the pool was perfect after a long day in the sun
