- From US$196.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,984 reviewsI recently stayed at Medora Auri, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything one could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to various attractions and amenities in the area. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were consistently helpful and attentive throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to ensure I had a pleasant experience. Additionally, the hotel's strategic location made it convenient for me to explore the surrounding areas by car, allowing me to travel and explore the country with ease. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.Guest review bySamirahUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,397 reviewsThe hotel is conveniently located next to the ferry port. Although the hotel is older, it is very well maintained, clean and charming. There are many areas to sit both inside and outside to enjoy the views. Our room and the bed were both very comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the port which was a wonderful place to enjoy an evening drink. We really enjoyed the convenience of the buffet dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Both were plentiful and delicious. The hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here.Guest review byNancyCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 86 reviewsThis is difficult for me because I switched rooms. The first night I was staying in a seaside room but I couldn't see the sea so when I asked to be switched, the gal at front desk wouldn't believe me and kept insisting that I was in seaside room. Finally, she agreed to switch me to a tiny, tiny room but the VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE so even though the room was much smaller, I didn't care because the view was worth it! The smaller room did not have a tea kettle. The other staff was good, very pleasant.Guest review byLesleyUnited States
- From US$196.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 936 reviewsGreat stay even in the winter. Warm atmosphere, very very kind and helpful staff, from manager to the cleaning ladies. Marina at reception was very kind and willing to help. A lot of activities for kids, playrooms and facilities for kids in each corner, the pool, bicycle rides in the lovely paths and gardens of the resort, animators.. Variety and quality of the food was excepitional. We loved everything.Guest review byMiroslavaSerbia

I booked a cheaper room but on the arrival I was told they had a sea view room for me as an extra. I was so happy! I also received a voucher for some spa treatments as a gift, unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy it.Guest review byGabrielaSlovakia

Easy transport in the city with bus or Uber.
Easy transport in the city with bus or Uber. Uber is mostly cheap. Lively and cute old city with nice cafes and restaurants. Has few nice beaches close to the center as well, like Kasjuni. Islands are near by to visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Substantially restored after the war, and taken over by AirBnB's, the true local population has fallen from over 6,000 to under 1,000. As a result it's very pretty but reminiscent of Disneyland or the New Orleans French Quarter: there are few or no local shops and apart from all us tourists everyone is a waiter, a guide or a cleaner. That said, it certainly lives up to its reputation for beauty, and offers a limitless selection of restaurants. It is scrupulously clean, and feels very safe (we did not see a single policeman). Not cheap. Museums underwhelming: partly because the tiny city was blessed with peace under wise rulers for most of its existence, and there is an understandable reluctance to highlight the WWII years. I still felt they could have done a bit more with it.Guest review byGuyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Free local parking. Everywhere accessible. But parking near the old town can be challenging. Ubers very good value. Particularly liked Rosmarino Restaurant in old town. Delicious food and wine. Fosa in a great location but restaurant is very pricey. Zadar a safe city and people friendly and helpful. Our host family were charming.Guest review byHilaryIreland - 10.0

A small, charming town filled with tourists, restaurants, and shops. I’d recommend spending a day and a half to truly take in the atmosphere and history. Consider hiring a guide or using a quality audio tour for a brief but informative overview.Guest review byAlexandraUnited States - 8.0

The walk from Cuban each into town - approximately 3 km was lovely with lots of good beachfront cafes. Parking was expensive for beach access and difficult to get a Bolt/Uber the times we tried. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful for a fine dining experience.Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely atmosphere and very settled weather. A variety of excursions and walks Swimming is nice but if you like sandy beaches then you need to wear waterproof shoes because the beach is stoney. Food is international but you can find Croatian dishes too.Guest review byGeoffUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Šibenik is not just a holiday resort – it has a lot to offer...
Šibenik is not just a holiday resort – it has a lot to offer. It is a city full of spirit. There seemed to be an ongoing music festival, as there was live music every day. The old town is breathtaking: lively, narrow, white-paved streets, ancient houses with bare stone walls, the air filled with the scent of the sea, a busy port, and tourists who are warmly welcomed. There is a city beach, but I recommend leaving Šibenik for swimming – for example, to one of the nearby islands or to smaller beaches outside the inlet. The city is also a great starting point for visiting Krka National Park – we agreed it is the most beautiful place we have ever seen.Guest review byLadislav SedlákCzech Republic - 6.0
Vodice is a very crowded place.
Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. On the beach in Vodice, there is also a nightclub that gets really loud, so it’s not the best option for a holiday with small children.Guest review byNatáliaSlovakia - 10.0

Liked the laid back, relaxed feel of Cavtat - quite different from usual Spanish resorts. Good selection of restaurants and bars, would say it’s more suited for 30+ but there were lots of families there too. A mix of nationalities. Dubrovnik about 50 mins each way by boat. Smallish selection of shops, liked Croatino the best. Good swimming in the sea. Would recommend for a relaxing break.Guest review byAndreaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland
