The hotel is close to Ystad (only 10 km) which is a nice city of the southern Swedish coast (jazz festival starting from 31st July). I love how Malmö has history and culture and modern buildings. It's a city that has grown and changed, and it's still revitalizing new areas. That makes the city feel vibrant. At then same time there is a very laid-back vibe. I appreciated how low-key Malmö is after visiting much larger European cities. It was very easy to use the bike to ride around the city. Considering that I am hard travelling person and visited many countries and cities, It was one of the best Hotel in my life. Everything was brilliant: rooms, bathroom. I want to thank all staff of this Hotel. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. The breakfast was very delicious and pithy. The location also was not bad for the reason that Lund is very smart city by its roads and destinations. I liked to walk till city center without any transportation. Many thanks to you. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First, the location was completely unsuitable — it turned out to be in an industrial exhibition area, not at all what I expected. I also paid 30% extra for a balcony room, but the balcony faced a parking and loading area, offering no added value. Second and most serious, I was charged at the time of booking via Booking.com, but upon arrival, the hotel claimed they hadn’t received the payment and made me pay again. Despite showing proof of the original charge, the staff refused to help and told me to deal with Booking.com myself. I ended up paying twice for a one-night stay. At checkout, no one took responsibility. Both the hotel and Booking.com admitted they received my money — but neither refunded me. It's now been over a week, and I’ve written and called multiple times with no resolution. I am still waiting to get my money back for the duplicate charge. The complete lack of support, communication, and accountability from both the hotel and Booking.com is unacceptable. Linkoping is nice, Have been there a couple of times over the years visiting my daughter. This time I stayed at Scandic between trains as the location is excellent - close to the railway station and the city centre. I would stay there again if I get a cool room. I did stay there again 27 - 28/7 and got a cool room facing the street thanks to Abbe. He was very helpful and interacted very nicely with family with children at check-in. Arrived during medieval week, where the locals from baby's, to teens, to adult and the old, all get dressed in the local "traditional" costumes of an era long gone. Visby is one of the Hansa towns, so has great history of for the area and has kept its medieval look and feel with narrow streets (v.limited cars thank heavens), cafes by babbling streams, great restaurants with amzing staff who all spoke English - phew! Like a mini-manchester but with a Scandinavian touch. An insane amount of beautiful jugend architecture in a town for this size. It's fun to walk around and take it in. Wonderful castle and walks around and through the city were most enjoyable. The area is flat so no problems with steep inclines. Interesting history with many photo opportunities.
