Everything is extraordinary! It’s like you just landed on the Wild West. I was late for the check in and called the office, the guy there was just the super nice and helpful to figure out a solution. Then got there and exceeded my expectations big time: huge and super clean room, great bead, big bathroom beautiful decoration and impressive work on building these things with huge logs! The breakfast was another experience both for the food and the restaurant itself. I totally recommend and I will be back.

Staying at this castle hotel truly felt special. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always kind and attentive in every detail. The entire place was spotless, beautifully renovated, and perfectly quiet – creating a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The food was another highlight: room service was tasty, breakfast was delicious, and dinner at the restaurant was unforgettable. In fact, it was one of the best meals of our whole trip, with an outstanding wine list – even compared to several Michelin-starred restaurants we visited. A perfect combination of history, comfort, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable experience.

    Museum Wiesbaden has one of the biggest Art Nouveau collection in Europe. Neroberg offers delightful views of the entire city, plus a chance to ride on the Nerobergbahn and to visit St Elizabeth's Church. Das foyer in the Staatstheater is also not to be missed, access is only possible on evenings when there are performances, even without a ticket.

    Nothing much here compared to other towns. Didn’t understand the Grimm Brothers museum and what it was trying to achieve. The Bergpark was good. Great for nature lovers. Three night maximum stay is sufficient.

    My Dad served in Fulda during the early 1970s.

    My Dad served in Fulda during the early 1970s. It was a joy to go back and learn what an amazing and vibrant city that Fulda is. I enjoyed exploring it's cultural heritage during the wine festival and it was lovely to see so many of the site's I grew up hearing about.

    The city has more to offer than fabulous Mathildenhöhe. There is the very beautiful castle and the marvellous Landesmuseum. The Jugendstilbad (swimming pool in a historical building) was great. People are kind and helpful everywhere.

    It is more touristic than I thought, a bit overcrowded for my taste. One reason to not take the cable car up the mountain. If you like crowds and lots of restaurants you're at the right place. We had a good meal in Willingen. We went to the hang bridge (Sky walk) nearby, we visited the Dimeltalsperre and we went shopping in Winterberg.

    The location is good, the staff is friendly. The room is well-kept, spacious, the bed is good, the bathroom is good and always clean. The only thing is the water pressure in the shower is weak. The cost-benefit is good. Quiet place, calm and helpful residents, clean and tree-lined streets, good and diverse commerce.

    The hotel was perfect.

    The hotel was perfect. Breakfast is offered at times that work for early morning travel. We like the ability to stay the night before at the hotel & not worry about potential traffic jams the morning of our flight. The scheduled shuttles to the airport are great: they run as scheduled & take you right to your terminal.

    The town is a tourist magnet, but for those who know the Rheingau also a Mecca, neighbouring Gesienheim has the University where many Rheingau wine makers will have studied. The whole Rheingau is within reach, the steep Rüdesheim vineyards above the town are wonderful and peaceful for walking, those with less energy can take the chairlift. We tried the Spanish restaurant near the Bahnhof and Breuer's Schloss restaurant opposite (4 metres away) from the Hotel Lindenwirt where we stayed and also ate and drank. They had some nice (think craft) alco free beers.

    It is a historic university town, overlooked by a 13th century castle. Hilly but full of architectural gems from a 13th century church to a 16th century Town Hall and countless half-timbered 16/17th houses in the Old Town, having escaped any serious damage during WW2. A day and an overnight stay, I would say, is essential.
