This property is exceptional in all respects: staff, decor, rooms, location, views from the room, food, value for money, everything. It is recently renovated. The breakfast is excellent. It is impossible to describe in a few words how fantastic a week we spent in this hotel. It can be classified as more than a four-star hotel! It offers more than what can be read in its modest description. They pay attention to every detail, everything is very elegant and sophisticated. The staff is very kind and helpful, they are always smiling, especially Ivan! The garden is wonderful, it gives enough shade to go to the beach. The pool is super good and also very clean. There are also sunbeds on the direct beach. Thank you very much for your extraordinary attentiveness, we were also awaited with breakfast at four o'clock in the early morning. I am sure we will return to this extraordinary hotel. The restaurant's food is very tasty and plentiful. There is a lot on offer, each night has a different theme .The hotel is located in a quiet little bay where almost only hotel guests bathe, so there are no crowds. The location itself is a very quiet neighborhood, no parties or music. The city of Palma is really close, 15 minutes by taxi, which costs 20-25 euros. The airport is 25 minutes away. I know it's hard to choose between the many hotels, but don't hesitate here, you won't be disappointed. I have been to many places in the world, but this is one of the first. Thank you! Staff was very kind and thoughtful. We got a room with half-board, breakfast and dinner were always very nice, tasty and eye-catching. If you have a food allergy, they care and there's always an option for you, since it is a buffet. Great location in town and close to the beach. Many stores close by. A couple of minutes away from the bus stop from and to Palma airport. I would definetely stay again if visiting Alcudia.

A firm favourite with sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. The enchanting capital Palma has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbour, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport transfers. North of the island is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana whose mountain lakes are absolutely beautiful. A trip to its highest peak – Puig Major – offers wonderful views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts are Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighbouring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters.     Beautiful city with an abundance of bars, restaurants, cafes & shops. Mercat de Santa Catalina & Mercat de L'Olivar incredible for small early bites along with a glass of beer or wine. Bar Dia & Cafe C'an Toni particular favourites for both tapas & main meals. For coffee lovers, both Arabay in Placa Mayor & Nano Coffee in the city centre do incredible coffee. La Catedral is a must visit & a trip to Castell de Bellver well worth it as well for the views of outside Palma. Wandering all over Santa Catalina a great highlight for small street with local cafes, bakeries & street art to be seen. Excellent bus service throughout the city if it's too warm to be walking everywhere.

    Playa de Palma is beautiful with a beautiful beach and many places to find a drink or meal. The only major drawback is that the hotel feels more like a “mini Germany,” since it’s a very popular holiday spot for German travelers. If you’re hoping for something that feels more local, just keep that in mind.

    I had three days of holiday, and I just wanted to go to the warm sea and take my child to the water park. That's why I chose El Arenal, because it's quite close to the airport and the water park, and I didn't have to waste time travelling. The main advantage of the city is, of course, the sea. But you have to be very careful here. I saw local thieves trying to steal things from holidaymakers at the sea or goods from shops more than once. Another unpleasant thing was that there was a persistent smell of urine in the narrow streets near the promenade, even though the streets were washed by the owners of shops and cafes.     Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    Typical Spanish tourist town.

    Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.

    We stayed at Hotel Illusion Calma where Staff are really welcoming & helpful. Great variety & quality of food at both breakfast & dinner. We had a lovely corner room with balcony over pool, beds & pillows very comfy and housekeeping excellent. Location is so good, beach just a few minutes walk away & you can also walk along the coast all the way to Palma, fabulous! Can Pastille has lovely mix of locals who seem very happy to be surrounded by tourists All inclusive is fantastic value.

    Cala d'Or is an OK resort.Good for young children . No authentic Spanish influence, very Brits or German abroad. Sorry to say a bit tacky and parts of the resort needs renovating and cleaning up.

    The staff across the hotel were always courteous / smiling...

    The staff across the hotel were always courteous / smiling and made that important position that we were 'On Holiday'. Even the smaller problems were always dealt with promptly by your staff - and they never 'forgot' any of our questions!

    The area was lively yet peaceful enough to relax. There were restaurants and parties in the evenings, but it never felt overcrowded – just the right number of people. The scenery was truly breathtaking.

    I enjoyed Cala Millor, it’s a pleasant area, but if your goal is to explore the island and visit other places, I would recommend staying somewhere more central. Cala Millor is quite far from most of the main attractions, including other beautiful beaches, which makes travelling around tiring and time-consuming.
