There is a pool and a fully equipped kitchen with indoor and outdoor dining areas. Perfect for preparing your own meals if you prefer. It's a working farm with a variety of animals to keep the kids amused. You can do worse than simply spending the day on the premises. Ideal location for exploring the Sierra de Grazalema and within easy reach of Arcos, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville and Setenil for a day trip. El Bosque is a charming little town with a nice selection of supermarkets cafes and restaurants. It's also the location of the office which issues the permits needed for some of the walks in the area. Excellent value for money. Our new favourite country retreat.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom
- From US$116.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 647 reviewsI loved the quiet, idyllic, and beautiful surroundings, rural elegance at every comer. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The pools are lovely especially the lagoon style pool with the water slide, the water was rather cold, but it was a welcome respite from the warm weather. Rooms are all decorated a charming country style and very clean and comfortable. Really friendly and kind staff. Location is just a short drive to Ronda City. The hotel grounds have beautiful peacocks roaming freely which I loved. Didn’t dine at the hotel’s restaurant but did have breakfast which was lovely. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we definitely shall be back.Guest review byCivicchioniGibraltar

An unexpected delight.
An unexpected delight. Shops, culture, and views all need to go on your bucket list. Really easy to get around the old part of the city. The bull ring was worth the visit from a cultural perspective (not for a bull fight). Great wine and food. People really friendly.Guest review byLauraUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I stayed for a week which is longer than usual.
I stayed for a week which is longer than usual. It helped that it coincided with Corpus Cristi, a 4 day event with Zaharan customes (but also with a lot of noise!). In normal circumstances I could easily stay for 4-5days alone or a bit longer with friends. There are the ruins of a castle with the village constructed steeply upwards, with an (artificial) lake below - quite spectacular. But you have to be prepared to face streets that either go up or down, and never level!Guest review byDolphiUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Great hiking which was why we were there.
Great hiking which was why we were there. Reasonable choice of restaurants in town to choice from for supper. You could walk to the town from our accommodation which was on a hill overlooking the town.Charming town.Guest review bySusanCanada - 10.0
The most beautiful area and easy to get to.
The most beautiful area and easy to get to. The town is attractive with all the white buildings and central church. The long paseo has plenty of seating and at least half a dozen bar restaurants alongside. The locals are especially friendly and helpful and prices most reasonable. Ronda is under half an hour away and the coast only an hour by car. We went at end of March with warm days but chilly nights. The town does have some steep streets and our accommodation was at the top of a hill so needed some stamina to walk back after an evening meal.Guest review byHilarySpain - 10.0
The hotel is a little gem.
The hotel is a little gem. Set in a very lovely place, there is a constant sound of running water around the hotel, from the waterfall, very soothing and peaceful, staff were excellent and food amazing.Guest review byChristine - 8.0

it is a small and cute white village in amazing surroundings. The city itself is not exceptional, compared to other white villages. The location is really amazing - just next to the Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema. You can start many day trips from here, such as to the beautiful Ubrique in the middle of the park region, or to the historical locations of Benaojan or Ronda, of course. To drive here, you can also enjoy scenic routes, such as the one via Juzcar.Guest review byLau GuidoNetherlands - 10.0
What a fabulous place Ronda is, absolutely fabulous views...
What a fabulous place Ronda is, absolutely fabulous views that never cease to take your breath away. It is very busy with tourists, as you would expect, and pretty impossible to get around if you have any mobility issues. We had some fabulous food, and some not so fabulous, but that didn't spoil our time in Ronda, and the good made up for the bad! We booked a free walking tour but this was cancelled due to lack of other people signing up, but we had a guide book and a map so did our own. There is a Tourist information office near to the Bull Ring which I'm sure would have information on tours as there were lots going on around us. We stayed for 3 nights in an Apartment very close to Socorro Square which was an ideal location for exploring. A visit to Ronda is highly recommended.Guest review byDianePortugal - 10.0

Zahara de la Sierra is a great location for an active holiday with opportunity to relax if preferred. Bars and restaurants offer traditional, local produce. Hotel Al Lago was especially good. The town does have the steep hill streets of the traditional white villages.Guest review byCarolGibraltar - 10.0

We were looking to get away from touring busy Madrid, Granada and Sevilla and spend some time in nature. The small village of Grazalema was perfect, in the middle of the national park where we did some hiking.Guest review byCatherineUnited States - 10.0

Ronda is famous for its bridge which is truly stunning. As we went in August we knew that it would be hot so planned to see the sights in the mornings and relax in the afternoon. At cooler times you could fit most things into one long day. There are great places to eat and locals are very friendly.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom
