Mohamed met us at the entry to the medina and handled our luggage all the way up to our room. We were then offered Moroccan tea and sweets on the rooftop where we first saw the panorama of the Blue City. He, and the entire staff, were warm and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations for places to see and where to eat. All of his suggestions were perfect. Breakfasts were magnificent and coupled with views that provided us with a lifetime of memories. Our walk to the Spanish mosque on our final morning there provided views that will be forever etched in our minds. We had one plumbing issue that was corrected immediately. Staying there was the perfect spot to making us comfortable in Morocco and lessened any anxiety we might have had in staying at unknown to us riads. Last thing, our room had a view of the local school. That might not seem ideal to many people, but for us it was nice to hear the excited voices of young people during the day and particularly when they had phys ed or recess. If we ever return to Chefchaouen, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Location is close to the main square and convenient. The view from the terrace was beautiful.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony, which overlooked the stream, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's only a few minutes’ walk to the spring and the old city, and if you enjoy walking, you can easily reach the mountains as well.
