The Dar itself is gorgeous, very well maintained and immaculately clean. My room was very comfy and in my bed I slept like in heaven. I did not use the pool on the roof but this is a nice bonus, very much so for kids. I loved it that there were wonderful books available and sitting outside my room and looking at those books was great. Breakfast was fantastic. It was allegedly served from 8:00 am. On the day of my departure I sneaked to the breakfast room at 7:30 in the hope to grab a quick coffee as I had to leave early for my train - and the whole breakfast was already served! That was so lovely. The nice woman even hurried to pour me fresh orange juice. The entire staff was just wonderful and so, so nice. Every night they brought me a glass of tasty Moroccan white wine up to my room on the top floor. I would defo recommend staying at Dar Shâan while visiting Rabat.

The riad is a little jewel very close to the medina gates, offering a peaceful and friendly environment with individually designed, beautiful rooms and equally inviting common areas. The staff, including the manager Meriem, was very friendly and always helpful both in person and before our arrival, providing us with detailed advice and support. The breakfast was exceptionally rich and varied.

Riad Amaris is situated in the centre of Rabat, a 12-minute walk from Kasbah of the Udayas. The traditional-style riad offers an original patio with a fountain, a glass ceiling and a furnished terrace with plants. We enjoyed our stay so much. The riad is very cute, with a great terrace to enjoy the sun or play a game. The location is amazing, just in the heart of the medina. All people working there are very friendly and kind. They offered us every day tea and delicious cookies, just bought from the market. They make sure if you feel welcome and at home in their riad. The breakfast is awesome!! Freshly made, great italian coffee, a big variety of delicious food. It could not be any better...

The DAR YANIS riad is located in the heart of the medina, 50 meters from the main artery, Avenue Mohamed V, but quietly nestled in a small dead end; it is 5 minutes from the beach.

200 meters from the riad, guarded public parking lots (5 dhs/hour) are available at the entrance to the medina. This hotel is most definetly the best I've ever visited. Local, wonderful building, clean and most of all- a wonderful staff! Also, I forgot my phone it in the taxi when I arrived to Rabat. There and then I thought that it would be impossible for me to get my phone back with my Credit card and travel documents. The staff took good care of my calming me down and they solved the issue with me and they managed to get my phone back. I'll be forever grateful to Hotel Dar Yanis. I want to visit that lovely hotel again in the future!

A daily breakfast is served in one of the Riad’s Moroccan lounges or on the terrace. With its central location on Mohamed V Avenue, the hotel is not far from restaurants and shops. Riad was beautiful and spatious. Room was super comfortable and quite big. Services were perfect. Staff was increadibly nice and caring. We had a problem on the road on our way there and they were quite understanding. They made our life easier. They were very welcoming and they explained us all about the main attractions to visit in the city, as well as to get there. Location is good and very easy to get there. They were also very detailled on giving us instructions on how to get there and how to park nearby.

Rabat-Salé Airport is 11 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We had a great stay! The Riad is beautiful, and it has air conditioning; the breakfast was amazing. A lovely and calm place right in the middle of the Medina (the old part of the town). Everyone was very friendly and I felt very comfortable.
