Having a fireplace in the room was really great, after dinner we used this and found it very relaxing. Hot tub was clean and facilities around it were really useful. Great to have our own cooking facilities, especially when you’re travelling, comfortable bed. We stayed 3 nights, Luc our host was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit in Yoho and Lake Louise. Only 10mins from Emerald Lake and 20mins to Lake Louise. There is no grocery store in Field so you do need to bring your own supplies. We went to The Truffle Pig in Field for dinner, yum. We stayed in the Winter and the whole place was covered in snow and absolutely beautiful. Every single member of staff that we came across was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. This location, while they accommodate many visitors, did not feel touristy at all! Everyone was so friendly, the restaurants and lounges were so relaxed, upstairs had a billiard table, and everyone felt at home at this lodging experience.
