This is one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. My room was perfect with a view of the lake. Excellent kind communicative staff. The hotel is perfectly located right on the lake next to the bus stop and ferry. Walking distance to attractions. The breakfast was phenomenal....so many options! There is free water and coffee available for guests not to mention the free bottle of wine which was included in my reservation. Just a wonderful experience. Spiez is a special little town and the locals were also kind and welcoming.

We arrived early at the hotel and was welcomed nicely by the staff. He even let us check-in earlier since the room was ready. We had super awesome magnificent view from the room. On top of that, the hotel gladly arranged a simple surprise for my daughter birthday during our breakfast and also assist us for transfer to the Spiez station.

The hotel has a high overall score; Beautiful viewing platform; Free afternoon tea; Infinity pool; There are many places for guests to relax, and they will never feel bored. Restaurant, front desk service staff is very friendly, patient answer. Except for the young, round-faced lady at the front desk (who loves braiding braids); I suspect that she has racial discrimination, which is very inconsistent with the overall harmonious atmosphere of the hotel. One second, she is still smiling, and when she sees Asian guests, she is crying. For such a nice hotel, I was surprised to have this kind of problem. I wonder what happened to her? ! This makes me feel racist!

The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Thun and Brienz lakes, as well as the Lauterbrunnen valley, allowing you also to enjoy the relaxing Swiss Alps. The room has all you might need for your stay and Céline proved to be a kind and informative host. We stayed at Berglick Lodge for three nights and we will surely consider it again for future vacations in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at Schlosshotel Thun. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The spa area is small but charming, with everything you need to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was the location — just a quick elevator ride down to the Old Town, which made getting around so easy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Thun!
