It was the perfect place to relax after an active day or prepare before a busy day. The sound of the fish pond splashing was magical, the breakfast was lovely and generous and the service, especially Mark's helpful tips and suggestions about getting around Beijing, made our stay absolutely delightful.Guest review byRowlandFamily with young children

The rooms are very spacious and finished to a high quality. I believe we may have been upgraded to a higher room than we booked however the receptions spoke minimal English so I’m not sure they were able to convey it. John and the rest of the team were extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful and repeatedly helped me with organizational things. The hotel itself is a nice historic courtyard building in a little hutong right between two conveniently close subway stations. The courtyard itself is a lovely relaxing place not just for breakfast for to just hang out and chill or chat with the other guests- Alternatively there is also a nice quiet rooftop terrasse.Guest review byInaSolo traveller

Mark the manager is very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. Location is great near two subway stations and although rooms are small they contain everything you need. This hutong is very beautiful and unique. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops within walking distance and would highly recommend staying here.Guest review byFionaYoung couple
