We were 2+2 in a double room which meant that the sitting area (sofa) was transformed into a bed. There was enough space in the closets for all our stuff for a 6 day stay. There was a very nice playground right next to the building, and we put a blanket (brought from home) on the grass to sit on and keep an eye on the kids. The whole garden is just amazing, both for playing and relax, and we even saw beavers in the little river behind the fence. Decent breakfast in the morning, and selection of local wines for delight in the afternoon. We really appreciated the little summerhouse in the garden where we could spend evenings protected from wind and mosquitos. If you have an eye for nature, you will see plenty of birds right from the backyard, including woodpeckers and golden orioles. The restaurant next door was run by a different owner and open till afternoon on weekdays, but there were anyway plenty of options to eat out in the town.

Offering a seasonal pool available in summer, Penzion Siesta enjoys a quiet location on the outskirts of Valtice in Southern Moravia, less than one km from the town centre and Valtice Castle.

We liked everything. The greatest bonus was the position of the hotel - right by the chateau. Our window was facing the courtyard which meant that it was very very quiet at night. The room was clean, cool (air-con). Breakfast was pleasant.

The lady at the reception was superb helpful and very nice. The hotel is in an excellent location and it has an amazing swimming pool and back garden. Breakfast is also very good.

The location is great, walking distance from city center that is worth visiting. A lot of choice for breakfast and a nice ambient. We loved the wine that was waiting for us in the room as a welcome gift - it was a nice surprise and also very tasty. Would come back!
