We stayed there for a weak in the off season and had a wonderful time. I honestly do not know what could be improved. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the location is really nice and the SPA area great, I could imagine though that the latter could get a bit crowded, if the hotel is really fully booked.

Overall everything was excellent. One of the main points I wanted to mention is the excellent staff (Ostina Makaskey) she took care of us upon arrival and was super nice with dealing with my kids. She was amazingly kind and accommodating. We were very happy with her hospitality. She was helpful and kind in all means.

Room was spacious. View from terrace of the lake was superb! Restaurant meals were tasty and affordable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal with the Schluch See village nearby as well as many other scenic villages of the Hoch Schwartzwald. The nearby RotHaus Brewery was fascinating!

Pension Kramer is definitely a hidden gem! The bed and breakfast is completely renovated and beautiful. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and there was lots of variety. Parking was easy (right in front of the gueshouse). Our hostess spoke excellent English and was very nice and helpful in answering questions.

Hotel Silberfelsen in the Menzenschwand Valley is a 10-minute drive from Lake Schluchsee. Its country-style rooms feature free WiFi, and a balcony or terrace with scenic views.

I booked a room that had a balcony overlooking the lake which was beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. There was a mini bar fridge, glasses, bathrobes and a rain shower. There is a spa, pool, restaurant and bar at the property. The whole stay was calming and was just what I needed.

The location is simply unmatched – as if you are gazing at paradise itself from your window. The room and bed were elegant, refined, and perfectly comfortable. Still, the true highlights were the exquisite breakfast and the warm, graceful staff who made every detail feel special. Staying here is not just accommodation – it’s an indulgence, a boutique luxury experience. And tell me – have you ever enjoyed a sauna with a lake view? I did here, and it was an unforgettable experience. Perhaps the only refinement would be to offer a little more English information in the in-room instructions. Beyond that, the post-stay communication and support were absolutely flawless.

The atmosphere, it follows a nice theme of winter coziness everywhere. Super clean rooms, and generally in tip top condition, everything works as it should. The location is super convenient to just walk around the village and not take the car. We where blown away by the breakfast buffet, one of the best organised and packed buffet with so many options, all quality products and delicious. Generally a simple yet super luxurious experience that we didn't want to end! 20/10 advised.
