The complimentary breakfast was exceptional - all you could want to start your day. We are so glad that this was our last hotel night after 5 weeks - if it had been the first it would have set a very high bar which would not have been surpassed.

Quirky and in a carriage, unique experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was good. Mobile signal on O2 and Vodafone working even at 4G! and much much better than reviews suggest.

Was welcomed warmly for a one night stopover. Our room was above the pub but well insulated from traffic and restaurant noise. Very cosy. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was roomy and shower pressure great. Added bonus of checking in, then sitting in the beer garden watching the sunset and hot air balloon in the distance across the fields. Very serene setting. Tasty and lovingly cooked dinner and breakfast served in the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Situated 3 minutes’ walk from the market square and town centre of Petworth, The Angel Inn is a refurbished inn with medieval origins.

We got a (very) late checkin, thankfully. The site is just amazing and definitely worth spending much more time than we had. Breakfast is incredible, too.
