I was given a room upgrade, which was lovely. Room was clean and spacious, and I loved the White Company toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of fruit, cereals, yoghurt, and pastries plus cooked options. Check out was easy too. I stayed because I had to attend a funeral and the helpful staff and ambience of the hotel made what could have been a stressful experience in the end quite relaxing. Staff were lovely. We were given the bridal suite, which is where we had stayed the year before. We were also given a bottle of champagne which was a nice touch.
