We had a 2 night break, the location is excellent within walkig distance of the town centre and access to Burghley Park. Good parking. The staff were excellent, especially Bella who organised a change of rooms with less stairs. Millys restaurant was good, staff very helpful good breakfast , varied menu. Room comfortable nice toiletries and good shower. Fresh milk and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Overall an excellent stay.

Second time we have stayed here and refered it to friends. Lovely location with excellent service and staff. We will stay again. DINNER WAS Beautifully served in a relaxing setting.

Everything was incredible! We booked a room 45min before arriving and had a warm, friendly welcome and the most stunning room waiting for us. We were exhausted and the room felt like a slice of luxury: fluffy towels, bath robes, enough hooks for jackets, a mini fridge with enough milk for tea (not those tiny tubs!), a cupcake snack and charger points on both sides of the bed. We had drinks in their gorgeous bar where we relaxed with house ale and a selection of fun board games. And when we joined the breakfast room, we indulged in croissants, berries and granola and perfectly poached eggs. Absolutely awesome. Absolutely will stay there again.

In Ufford, between Peterborough and Stamford, the 4-star White Hart Ufford- Stamford has log fires and uses food produced at its own farm.

The White Hart is in a very small village, not far from Peterborough. We only stayed 1 night, but we enjoyed our stay. Our room was in a separate building in a courtyard with our own front door and seating outside. The outside areas are great for sitting to have a drink or food. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

It’s warm, clean and comfortable - love that you get fresh milk and water in the fridge… plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Evening meal in the pub was beautiful, fantastic home cooked food with service excellent Breakfast was beautiful in the morning Very good value for money
