Romantic Hotels in Tavistock

The staff were friendly, approachable & helpful. The room was excellent, because we had told them it was our anniversary they upgraded us to a 4 poster bed. We only had 1 meal in the hotel, which was breakfast and it was as expective, you could have juice, cereal, fruit and a cooked breakfast.

It's an incredible place, never stayed anywhere like it. The art and the decor were fascinating, and everywhere you look, you see something else that you hadn't seen before. A lovely ambience with Reed defusers and relaxing piped music throughout. Iain and Jack couldn't be more helpful and even moved their car out of its garage so we could park our motorbike securely. Our room had a shared bathroom, which, despite my misgivings, proved not to be an issue. We will definitely be back Pip +Jayne.

The property was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. The location was close to the centre of town. The hosts Iain and Jack were very friendly and helpful and resolved a small issue we had promptly. The room had a lovely ambience, we arrived to classic fm on in the room. There were numerous quality toiletries available to use. There is a stunning drawing room where you can sit and relax or read. Good base for exploring Dartmoor.

This was the most relaxing and wonderful few days in as many years as I can remember. The lads were so attentive and helpful. The drawing room a haven with a beer and a book. The bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine and the bed so very comfortable. No stone was left unturned, with a pletherer of creams, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and potions. A tea and coffee station was wonderful. But the decor of this home was just perfect. A perfect stay- and amazing value.

The walled garden was lovely and the room spacious and comfortable with a jacuzzi. The parking was good for a town centre hotel.
