The breakfast was excellent, and we especially enjoyed chatting to the staff. The old historic building was very cosy, and it was like going back in time. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable with clean luxury sheets, towels and bedding. The birthday meal was fantastic, and the bar had a very festive atmosphere.

Beautiful location and quite a lot to see in the direct neighbourhood. Rooms were perfect, beds were very comfy. Staff was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The bar was a nice place to enjoy a drink and play some board games.

The house was fantastic, our room (top level) was exceptional, so glad we were able to stay. From a few dinner suggestions we chose one restaurant in the town, and it was excellent. Breakfast was the best and tastiest on our holiday (6 weeks). Great chat with Mike and family in the morning too. Thank you. I hope we can come back one day!!

Being made welcome more like a member of the family. The premises are very quiet but situated near to the sea and excellent bars. I will be visiting again. I recommend the breakfast hamper, wonderful.

I had such a great stay at Devon House! The guest house was absolutely lovely — the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping everything clean and welcoming. The location was perfect — peaceful, yet close to everything you might need. It made getting around super easy. A special shoutout to Carl and his wife, who were such amazing hosts. They were kind, helpful, and made us feel right at home. You can really feel their hospitality in every detail. I highly recommend staying here. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I would definitely come back again!
