Staying on Cathedral grounds was absolutely magical. The Lodge has a very lovely large garden with a dreamy view of the cathedral, a beautiful breakfast area with a very nice outside space, and the lounge looked inviting too. Breakfast options were wonderful. The room was pretty and practical, everything was spotless. Strolling on the grounds in the evening, when all the touristy hustle and bustle was over, was meditative and magical.

Best location , not far from Canterbury West station. The WestGate Tower and WestGate garden , the attractions are just a few walk away. The staffs are friendly and full of service minded. We had been changed the attic room to the ground floor because of the large luggages , the room is nice and wider .

Easy to find, just off the A2 heading into Canterbury. The village is on the old A2 that was bypassed several years ago. Easy to get into Canterbury and surrounded by other lovely Kentish villages with good pubs and restaurants. Room was 1 of 5 in a converted outbuilding next to the host's own house. There was also a room in a tree house, it seems, but I didn't investigate further. The room was simply furnished but with everything you would need. Very quiet for a good nights rest. Breakfast was optional; I didn't have the breakfast so can't say. Beers and wine for selection on the honor basis.

The staff were lovely, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide choice and cooked to order. The room was very clean and well equipped with tea, coffee machine, biscuits, water. We booked last minute and had a city view room as that was the only one left. We were really happy in it but know that the sea view rooms are amazing. The hotel is in a quieter, relaxed location but easily walkable into town.

The hotel was lovely. We loved our room which was very comfortable and the furnishings and the colours used were very relaxing. The location is great, only a 10 minute drive to Whitstable and you feel like you are staying in the countryside. It was so quiet too which we loved. Staff are lovely. Really enjoyed the breakfast too. Bed super comfy! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fabulous location, small friendly hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Short walk to town and Whitstable is a great place to visit. The staff at the hotel were so helpful & efficient. Breakfast was fantastic & the lady running the 'Breakfast Buffet Area' was a warm & friendly character that made us smile every morning and she couldn't do enough for us (same can be said for all the staff throughout the hotel) Highly recommend a stay here. Thank You.
