We only stated one night, but everything was terrific. The room and bathroom was very, very clean, to the point that we could have been the first ones to stay there. The bed was comfortable and warm, despite the cold and rainy weather outside. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted and I can without reservation give this place 5 stars.

This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms.

Everything! The hosts were very friendly. The house was beautiful. The room was cosy and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic with a selection of cooked choices. Can park outside along the small road as long as you don't obstruct. Walking distance to nearby small town.

Everything about this hotel is spectacular. From its stunning location at the edge of Lake Windermere, to its gorgeously decorated rooms, terraces, bathrooms, hallways, etc., to its friendly professional staff, its excellent hot and/or cold buffet breakfast, there was nothing left to chance. Our Lakehouse room was a short walk away from the main house, with a massive terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens and with an uninterrupted view of Lake Windermere. So peaceful. So gorgeous. All of it.
