For those who are not looking for the atmosphere of a common and standard hotel chain, but the typical Irish charm, this is an ideal place. The hotel is well equipped, very comfortable, clean, very welcoming. The breakfast, but also dinner if you wish, are very good, host are charming and very polite. Parking around hotel is free and easy, the coutryside is very nice.

Corrib View Lodge was just lovely! Besides the good location, we loved our friendly host, Michelle, and her sidekick, Anne. They were so friendly and warm, very helpful with suggestions of things we could see in the area.

Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong.

Both Kevin and Rose and their teams were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfasts superb. We had lunch on the Terrace, and dinner in the Wilde ,and very much enjoyed both. The person who cleaned our room did a great job, and the valet was exceptional, taking us to Ashford Castle for dinner, and to the boat trip etc as well as parking and retrieving our car. Very quick to spot things. He was superb.Check-in was great. We arrived about 4pm on 19 March.Best Eggs Bene ever for breakfast ! Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights; warm and friendly atmosphere.Lovely food. Great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our treat to ourselves! Lunch on the patio was so relaxing! Great service and food there. Recommend the boat trip. All very relaxing. Check in was efficient and pleasant.

I would never have thought the hotel had such a nice rooms judging from the outside. Staff was also really friendly and made some suggestions for visiting.

This is a hidden gem located in the most idyllic setting. Stunning property, beautifully decorated and is the perfect spot to unwind. Lovely friendly genuine staff and amazing food. Our first visit but definitely not our last.
