The room, the food, the staff, the excursions, the weather, the (heated!) infinity pool on the roof, etc.. - Highly recommended! We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Thoppil. Very beautiful surroundings with waterfall and swimming possibilities, clean and cozy room and absolutely delicious homemade Kerala food. It is easy to go to Munnar by local bus, car or tuk tuk. The owners are so friendly and gave us a lot of tips on where to go and what to do. They helped us book a half day hike with a guide in the tea plantations, which was very beautiful and memorable. We highly recommend to stay at Thoppil homestay!

Property is very good and comfortable. We had the jacuzzi room which has stunning views and it’s a perfect getaway for a couple. Staff is also very good and helpful.

Location is amazing, a bit isolated but for me this was a plus since we didn't want to stay in Munnar centre, but maybe this is something to take into account when planning excursions. Since it's far from any village, they have a kitchen so dinner can be provided (they also provide service room and I can tell that having dinner on the balcony is really worth it). Munnar is quite expensive area but, to be honest, Moselberg cottages price is totally fair for what you get.
