What a wonderful hotel. Everything was spotless and well designed. The view of Lake Mývatn was just awesome from the bar and the restaurant. Best location possible. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Will use this hotel again on my next visit. Food in the restaurant was very good both diner and breakfast. Bonus was seeing the northern lights dance above the lava fields surrounding the hotel.

It is a great place to stay. There is enough space for family of four in the room. Nice little restaurant with great meals. Attentive set of people serving and they do show care. We enjoyed our breakfast. It is close to many attractions too.

Great place, close to Myvatn, with accommodating staff in the reception, and delicious breakfast with locally made food, I highly recommend visiting it especially if you plan to stay longer in the neighborhood. The place is easy to find but in a quiet area and there is even a gas station in the complex of buildings. Definitely I will come back for more :)

Cottages are situated next to Myvatn lake, so the view is incredible. However, prepare for many myges (flies). The small cottage was suitable for a family of four. Kitchenette is small, but very well equipped; you can cook and prepare a proper meal here. Bathroom has everything one needs. Beds were comfortable and bed set pleasantly warm (dawn). Breakfast had many possibilities, form waffles, fresh fruit, different types of salami and even gluten free bread options. Not to mention amazing view from the dinning room. Lady at the breakfast was very, very kind and helpful. People like her make stay even more pleasant. Thank you!

Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our visit. The accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained, and we particularly enjoyed hot tub and sauna. We also felt very comfortable in the restaurant, where they served delicious food and the service was excellent. Also the breakfast variety was great. We stayed in various hotels during our holiday in Iceland, but into this one we would definitely return.

Amazing hospitality. They allowed us to stay hours before the check in due to the bad weather conditions. Then when leaving our car was stuck in the snow and they helped us to move it. Amazing breakfast and dinner food quality, all homemade.

the location was perfect for us - we didn't have breakfast... we are not breakfast people. The room was perfect, the bed was really comfy and all the cutlery, plates and stuff for cooking was perfect. Thank you - we'll come again :-)
