    Absolutely gorgeous hotel, a wonderfully tasteful renovation of a Genovese Palazzo. The foyer, lounge, staircases and terrace are all marvellous. As was our room, minimally decorated, but with wonderfully finished lime plastered walls, it was roomy with high ceilings and a lovely view out on the piazza below. Great bathroom, fantastic shower and the comfiest bed we have ever slept in. Fantastic staff also, five stars for everything!

    Excellent choice at breakfast on the roof top of The Grand Hotel Sovoia (where we were upgraded to) Also free use of jacuzzi on the roof top was amazing Really enjoyed our 3 night stay!

    I was moved to savoia hotel next door it’s an old 5stars hotel that definitely needs renovation I got a small room on court making you feel that you are in a luxury jail so disappointing I booked a modern room at the continental and ended up In a room like that and what’s funny is that they call this upgrade !!! And reading the reviews they do it systematically I really think this is unacceptable ! Don’t let them fool you it’s a downgrade !

    This review relates to the sister hotel Grand Hotel Savoia as we received a complimentary upgrade, also a bottle of wine for our 40th anniversary, so kind. Location right next to main train station perfect & easy, hotel stunning, room was lovely though no pleasant view & a ‘compact’. Breakfasts here are really good, lots of choice and breakfast staff really helpful and pleasant. We took the tourist bus to explore & got off at places of interest, which was helpful.

    We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the 5 star sister hotel next door. Both hotels had friendly and helpful staff. The room we were given was very comfortable and we had access to the rooftop bar where there was also jacuzzi access. This was a wonderful way to relax in the heat. The hotel is next to the main station and only a short walk to the city centre. Breakfast was great - a buffet on the rooftop terrace with views over the city.

    Absolutely everything ❤️, the grand Hotel Savoie was superb in every way, ( we were upgraded from the hotel continental) it is very grand with amazing class and chic the roof terrace was fabulous and we loved using the jacuzzi and having our breakfast on the terrace, the staff were very helpful and lovely. Thank you for a fabulous break
