We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip to Italy on our way from the Lake Como area and before visiting Portofino and the Cinque Terre and Tuscany. The hotel was very kind to upgrade us to a beautiful bay view with balcony. It was spectacular. We had a drink there and then ate in their restaurant, which was good. Breakfast was also very good and had lots of options. Espresso drinks were wonderful. I chose this hotel because it also had a nice gym, and I enjoyed it and its spectacular view. We were hoping to eat at the seaside restaurant and sit by the pool because the weather was in the 80s, but they were clsoed for the season. :( We visited Santa Marguirita Ligure, which was lovely, for lunch, and very close by.

This hotel has wonderful location where we are easily reach the train station, city center and a lot of attraction sites. The staff is so nice and helpful. The breakfast is very nice. The room is clean, warm, quite and comfortable. The WiFi works also very well. If we visit Rapallo next time, we like to stay in this nice hotel again.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mondial in Rapallo and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, which made the whole experience feel warm and personal. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk from the seaside and close to the town center, yet tucked away in a peaceful area. It’s the perfect balance: convenient access to everything you need without the noise and hustle, especially at night. The quality of the service and rooms is great, particularly for the price. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I felt I got excellent value overall. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, tasty, and with a good variety to start the day right. If you’re looking for a calm, welcoming, and well-located place to stay in Rapallo, Hotel Mondial is a fantastic choice.
