Amazing and luxurious hotel. Spread over a large area with a large lobby and seating area. Huge rooms decorated in a traditional and modern style. The hot Onsen bath on the balcony is great fun especially on snowy nights like the one we spent. Excellent breakfast - a large selection with dishes from Japanese and Western cuisine. Great staff that provides professional, friendly and pleasant service.

This historic hotel has great grounds for short walks and is very nice to look at. The onsen was great with two different temperature tubs, cold plunge, sauna and an open air area. The breakfast was Western or Japanese in differnt locations and both were good set meals. All staff members were very helpful.

The location is very convenient. It is near to bus stations going to the primary tourist spots and Shinjuku express too. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming.

We had such a great time staying at Mizunoto! Meals were fabulous - fantastic hot meals both in the morning and evenings that used seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed using the private onsen facilities at Mizunoto, which were easy to use and very appreciated after a long day of exploring Hakone. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed soaking in the view of the mountains from the tub on the balcony.

The rooms at Kinnotake Tonosawa comes with a private hot spring bath. They also include a coffee machine. The hotel has free WiFi, and a terrace.

It was great - the Hosts were really nice and helpful. The room had everything we need. The Onsens (Indoor + Outdoor) were really great. We loved it so much and will come back.

Stunning views with impeccable service and hospitality. The three private onsens were absolutely relaxing. Tbh, we didn't even really venture out that much into town and mostly spent our time inside the ryokan because of how relaxing it was. The booking said shared bathroom, but we had pur own private toilet room right outside of our room and a sink is also present inside. Only the public onsens and the actual bathrooms are shared. The food is also delicious!

Situated in the mountain ranges of Hakone in the Sengokuhara Hot Springs region, Hakone Reatreat Före is a 50-minute bus ride from Odawara Station.
