This was the most unique accomodation we stayed at on the whole trip. I've read in some other reviews this was a hidden gem, and a gem it is! We got a room upgrade just because, the breakfast was amazing, the pool and sauna area really nice and the staff super attentive! Great relaxing time in Colombo before taking our flight back home. Wish we could have stayed longer! :)

Sayuras House is a very nice place. Beautiful interior and decor you will find and a very relaxed garden. The staff is very kind and helpful. We had a really good stay there. It’s also nice that it is very quiet. For Colombo Perfect option!

SITA, the caretaker, was THE BEST. She is so sweet, makes excellent breakfasts, including a special one for New Years', and seems to genuinely want to make everyone happy. She took care of everything as if we were family members. The owners were living outside the country (they were very responsive via whatsapp) so Sita ran the show and is the face and success of this place. We enjoyed meeting her two children, sweet Sadie the dog, and the yard tortoise!

Staff were helpful and friendly,very big pool with nice view and big garden,very comfortable and big bedroom but the best part was for us the breakfast and dinner buffet.Chef and his team do amazing job.I have been with my family at many different buffets all over the world but this was one of the best one we have ever tried,every single food was increadibly tasty with very reasonable price We will definetely come back again.

Beautiful historic hotel. Pool/beachside area is lovely. Great place to relax. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Spa was also great and pricing quite reasonable for a hotel spa - recommend!
