Our stay at the hotel was exceptional. The staff were wonderful and friendly, always greeting us with a smile. My partner has a gluten allergy, and the head chefs personally attended to us, going through all the buffet items she could have. They even made fresh gluten-free versions of items she could not have upon request. The buffet variety was outstanding, and the food was very tasty. Our room was very clean, modern, and had an amazing view, with daily cleaning and tidying. We were assigned a staff member at check-in who checked in with us through WhatsApp every day to see if we needed anything, adding a personalized touch to our stay. On the last day, we were even given a gluten free cake as a treat.

Thusara guest house is above all a beautiful place, at the end of a small corner of paradise. The room I occupied is a typical beach vacation room. There is space, it feels good! The bathroom, very large, hot water at will, inside the room, good bedding, silent air conditioning, on top, fan. And icing on the cake, a wifi, fast! :.) Here, it is above all a place where you like to come back and find a friend, with whom to share your day or more intimately, your life. Thusara, smiling, happy, jovial, always ready to help and advise the best corners. It is a pleasure to have met his wife, his children. The room is located 1 mn from the beach... a short way down... nearby, restaurants, bars... far enough away not to be disturbed at night. At your disposal, a small kitchen, fridge, electric kettle... the breakfasts are extra!! For experienced surfers, Mirissa beach and not far, Matara.. for beginners, 5 minutes by scooter, Weligama beach (turning point school was great). The top of the top... and even Muy Thai lessons nearby (ask at the restaurant on the beach run by a Frenchman). I advise, of course, Go for it!

We loved *everything* about this place! We have stayed in 5 places in Sri Lanka, and this accommodation was far the best one! Even compared to other Asian/European experiences, this was extraordinary. The location is great, quite and peaceful, the hotel manager - Charindu, is an extremely attentive, genuinely nice person, the place is even better than on the photos, extremely clean, and well equipped. You can really feel it's a family business, you can see that it's their passion. Literally the best breakfast in Sri Lanka - awesome pancakes, omelette, tea/coffee. Plus, their laundry service is better than a 5* hotel's. We gave them our clothes in the morning, so it can be cleaned by next day, and instead they prepared it - cleaned, dried and ironed (!) - the same day, and placed them in a Packock logoed laundry bag in our room. They also cleaned our room after 2 days stay, and fresh beach towels were provided. Every restaurant and place that Charindu recommended us was fantastic! This is the only accommodation in Sri Lanka, where I would return without a doubt. I wish we had stayed longer! Thank you Charindu and Peacock team! :)

Everything about this place was exceptional. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Great pool, right in front of the beach. The breakfast was by far my best buffet experience, offering both variety and delicious food. I didn't really need to go out much because this place has it all!

I enjoyed a lot my stay there!😍 Very spacious room with a kitchen and a balcony with a beautiful view. Almost no mosquitos and flies disturbing, found 1 cockroach but they can be anywhere. 20min comfy walk with good views to town center is not long for that kind of peaceful location. Only downside of the room was not strong water pressure in the shower

Great breakfast! Large room with aricon! Quiet and rest well at night. Walking distance to the beach and surfing. Wifi is great at large open space which is very quiet for work. Also money sometimes passing by.

We stayed here on our honeymoon. First we stayed 5 nights but came back for 4 more nights. The hotel staff, Nassim and his friends, were so friendly and did everything to make sure we had a good holiday. Every morning we were served a fantastic breakfast overlooking the pool and the sea. The service was really top notch! The sea view room was so beautiful. We spent many hours by the pool and on the balcony and never wanted to go home. We have stayed in many hotels but this is among the best we have experienced😊
