The location right on the beach was perfect - a few steps around the bay to protected swimming behind the reef with turtles nudging you for a sea lettuce treat. Nearer the reef there were lots of fish, big and small. The semi indoor pool was clean and well maintained with change rooms in the hotel foyer. Best to have your own beach towels, as was the case almost all over the island. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, housekeeping on request without extra charge. The bathrooms were truly clean with toiletries supplied, including toothbrushes. Breakfast was very generous, attractively presented. We had dinner there one night - excellent meal. The staff were always professional, friendly and welcoming and a little issue of our own making was attended to quickly and helpfully.

The property is located 1minute walk from the beach. It is beautifully clean and staff is helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable. Airconditioned room. Breakfast was generous and scrumptious. We had a lovely stay!

We loved our stay at Rockside Cabanas Hotel! The hotel is situated right at the beach and you can see many turtles (which swim towards you when you feed them with seaweed) right at the beach. We stayed in a very comfortable and spacious family room. The room was decorated with beautiful (local) art and had a nice mix of the comforts of a modern hotel room with beautiful old features. We also enjoyed our breakfast and lunch here and just want to give a special shoutout to the amazing staff! They really go above and beyond to please you and make your stay as comfortable as possible! We also visited beautiful Galle from here, which is only 15 min by TukTuk.

Nooit Gedacht Holiday Resort is an affordable accommodation located just 600 metres from the beautiful Unawatuna Beach. Authentic Sri Lankan meals can be enjoyed at the private dining area.

The rooms were clean and looked freshly painted and furniture newly polished, linen fresh. comfy bed and pillows. Ac worked like a charm. Property is well maintained. The owner and managing persons are very friendly and helpful. They sweetly upgraded our rooms. Cafeteria is on the ground floor and has a set menu. homecooked meals. hot water. clean bathrooms. mosquito nets. cute balcony and the beautiful tropical plants. parking inside. it's located very conveniently on the main road. bus stop right outside. tuktuk right at the gate. 2 Atm s are literally at the doorstep. convenience stores within few metres. the beach is small 400m away and plenty of cafe s along the way.

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The facilities were clean, and well-maintained, providing everything I needed for a comfortable visit. There was plenty of parking available, which was very convenient. Pool facilities were good. The staff and the manger were incredibly helpful and attentive, making the experience even better. Stayed here over new year for 4 days for our honeymoon and LOVED it. Amazing room and pool. Highly recommend Tracks bar/ club nearby (10 min dtaxi) for great cocktails and dancing and the fort printers restaurant in galle fort. A great place for a few days - highly recommend!
