Hattvika Lodge has done an excellent job with the photos here on booking.com and in their social media https://www.instagram.com/hattvikalodge/. So yes, it is indeed as amazing as it looks!! I ll write here what you maybe do not see in the photos, which is how friendly and accommodating the staff is!!! The Slovakian girl we were welcomed by when we checked in (unfortunately I dont remember her name) was so friendly and helpful actively showing us e.g. apps with northern lights radar etc. And then during breakfast we were approached by Roland who is organising the outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with him and learnt a lot about the place and habits. He gave us tips about where to drive, what to see etc. I full regret not having booked a kayak tour or something but for sure we will do so next time. We will come back to Lofoten both in winter and in the summer and we will look no further for our accomodation that Hattvike Lodge.

Kræmmervika Havn offers accommodation in Ballstad. The inn has a terrace and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. You will find a kettle in the room.

Definitely a place I would return to and recommend. We've had a lovely afternoon there with a very good dinner and good evening drinks! Very relaxing stay for us! We read some poor reviews just before our arrival but none were true. We had no issues with WiFi. Few things to keep in mind - you should have your toiletries with you and if you wish to get your beds made up for you, you should ask in advance otherwise you can rent bedding and towels in the reception.

Nusfjord Village & Resort offers traditional fishermen's cabins known as 'Rorbuer'. The property features free Wifi in all units, free parking, and free access to sauna.

The location is perfect - the views are breathtaking. The guesthouse is gorgeous and Jack is very nice and welcoming.

The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations.

For naturelovers… one of the absolute best places to stay in Lofoten Islands. Just book if you are lucky to fint it available. High end fisher man cabins. All equiped also with kitchen.

Eliassen Rorbuer is housed in renovated fishermen’s cottages on Hamnøy Island. It offers cottages with private kitchen facilities. Moskenes Ferry Terminal is 10 km away.

We visited in the winter when it was snow covered, magical and unique, quiet enough to spend a bit of time chatting with the wonderful Tommy and Marion. They really went above and beyond - Marion cooked up the best meal of our life using the Atlantic salmon we brought back from a fishing charter Tommy organised. You do not need to be a surfer to love this place, only our son is and he surfed all day every day he was so impressed - the variety of surf boards to rent was outstanding too. Everything was incredible, from the fabulous Beach Villa which was spacious with its own sauna, hot tub, and beautiful view over the beach, running/walking along the waters edge, and of course the northern lights. And definitely the worlds best cinnamon buns - we each had one every day we were there, and took a bag away with us, they are that good! We definitely plan to be back
