What a magical place! It was even more beautiful than we expected. The gardens were just gorgeous! The inside of the palace is beautiful. We loved the stairs and the breakfast room especially. The staff are all so kind and helpful. Around the palace there are beautiful routes full of trees and a lake with ducks to take relaxing walks in the nature. Our stay there was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal!

We were very happy here, and the family/staff couldn’t have done more to help us. As Camino-walkers, the swimming pool did not disappoint! Well stocked bar, comfortable beds and an expansive garden to sit in and soak up sun.

Everything was perfect!... good location a short walk ,over the bridge to the main city area, with restaurants, cafes, etc., but quiet location. Cafes were below the accommodation if required. The room was very clean, well designed, spacious, comfortable bed and great shower. Even details such as the towels and bed linen were of very good quality, which makes a big difference. A large, and very cheap car park is located beside the accommodation, which is very convenient. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Coimbra, and would recommend it. Perfect!
