The room was very cosy, having all the necessary amenities! The bed was very comfortable, and the blinds fully darkened the room even during the day, and the area was quiet! To put in perspective, I have cronic insomnia, and I usually have a lot of trouble sleeping during travels, yet I slept like a baby all the 3 nights! The breakfast was also really nice and complete! The staff was super super friendly, you can see they were genuinely interested in helping you, I asked for a taxi and they offered me a ride towards the station in Valença! And we were really nice to talk to. Additionally, there's an excellent bike rental service, with very high-quality top-end electric bicycles available! The purpose of this trip was to explore the surrounding villages and bike paths by bike, and I ended up doing 120km in total, and it was with ease with the supplied bike! Overall, I'm super happy with the service, and it was a magnificent experience, super good value, quality waaaaay above the 2 star rating! I hope to come back one day to explore more in the Minho area! Thank you for everything!

Location is superb with breathtaking views and very quiet. Some of the food from breakfast is homemade (cakes and jam). Some of the fruit is also from their trees. We were impressed by the amazing art of José Rodrigues, the room was very cozy and has a nice design

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location. A great place to stay if you are pilgrims on El Camino and prefer accommodation in a quieter location. The hostess was very attentive. The whole house has been beautifully renovated. Beautiful and unusual shower.

Beautiful place, amazing breakfast we got in a basket in front of our door. Very clean & tidy, with an amazing outdoor area with view. The owner & ground manager were very friendly and helpful :). We had a great time at the place & surroundings! Would definitely recommend.

Set in a historical property, with traditional Alto Minho architecture, Solar de Serrade features a green garden.

Great characterful hotel in a lovely town. Really helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast and a really good restaurant for evening meals. Good off road parking. Location very good and avoids the narrow cobbled streets. Really enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was good, with enough options for vegetarians, and people with diabetes. Room was clean as it supposed to be in hotel. Hotel looks a bit old, but with spa package it is good deal, for the price. I think it was 63 for hotel room, or 75 for room with spa package for 2 ppl. So it is worth to take this package since spa cost is 12-15 eur per person.
