Very close to the train station and anything else you needed was just a few minutes walk away. Easy check in and out. Didn’t hear any noise from neighbors, so I was either lucky or the rooms are soundproof. Great food (although I was not able to attend the dinners, but the breakfast was good). The hotel room itself was very comfy and cozy. Might have to come back here someday! 10/10

Easy to find. Staff helpful. Beautiful old building

Bäckaskog Slott is beautifully situated between the lakes Oppmannasjön and Ivösjön. A monastery was built here in the 13th century and was later converted in to a castle in the 17th century.

Great staff and made to feel really welcomed when we arrived. Dinner in the restaurant was great, food was beautiful.

Such a peaceful place! Waking up to birdsong, sitting on the balcony with views over fields and the sea in the background. I was sorry I could only stay one night. Very nice and healthy breakfast. The cheese pancakes were lovely. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful.
