The entire experience from room comfort and cleanliness to the fabulous restaurant food at breakfast and most specially the dinner...exceptional! On our first night we had one of the best meals of our entire 6 week trip throughout South Africa! The manager, Fred, and his staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We were visiting on the last two days of the season, and we loved the property, very private and safe, and the grounds were charming. We had the most phenomenal one night stay as a family of 4 at Avoca River Cabins. The cabin was right on the water with the most stunning views. Gorgeous braai area and everything you need for self catering. Absolute gem of a place!
