This is an old Dutch house from the end of the 18th century. It has a lot of old furniture. It looks very stylish. Everything is clean, neat and everything works. Plus convenient parking. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and the beautiful old town itself is quite safe.

This retreat is located in quiet Swellendam in the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains. The spacious rooms feature modern décor with rustic touches and living areas with flat-screen satellite TVs.

We had the Africa Suite, which is a fantastic room. The staff is very lovely and welcoming and the entire complex is very well maintained. Breakfast is very delicious with a good selection of food. Parking on site is available and convenient. It is really such a nice place!

We only stayed here for one night and the accommodation was great, cozy and comfortable. We had a quick swim in the pool, and after that we headed to a restaurant for dinner, for which Walter helped us make a reservation as it was a busy Saturday evening. We appreciated Walter's recommendations for our drive back to Cape Town, as we ended up seeing beautiful scenery thanks to that! :)

This guesthouse is a true jewel. It is clean and charming. Staff is so friendly and the location is perfect. On top of this there is a pool and a private parking. We didn't try breakfast as we were in a hurry but it looked really inviting. I recommend spending at least one night in Swellendam as it is a lovely town. Great value for money.
