The location is just perfect, you can basically get everywhere by foot whether its sightseeing spots or the byward market. Still you dont hear any traffic etc. The rooms are comfortable and quite big. Pierre and his mother are very welcoming, they take their time to speak to the guests or give recommendations on what to see, where to go, restaurants,... if needed. The breakfast was also pretty nice, you get many options to pick from.

Peter welcomed us like family. He made our stay in Ottawa memorable. He is the most friendliest staff we have come across. He is genuinely accommodating. What an amazing personality for hospitality. I hope the hotel looks after him well and respectfully as a highly valued staff as the staff makes the hotel and the stay. The most comfortable king size bed and huge room with kitchen and huge bathtub. The location is so convenient to everything, walking distance to all attraction and canal etc. The hotel also provides breakfast packs for everyone to take away. How amazing is that. Also free laundry detergent and laundry services (heavy duty washers and dryers on 4th floor). 30 mins cycle for each. We had the most wonderful stay here. Thank you Peter. Featuring an indoor pool, this historic hotel is located in central Ottawa, adjacent to the Parliament Buildings and Rideau Canal. It features elegant dining options and spacious rooms with a flat-screen cable TV. We were in a junior suite and it was nice! Kind of an odd round shape but good to have the extra space and it was reasonably priced. Beautiful building and modernised yet classic decor.

The staff were absolutely fantastic - very friendly and accommodating! I am from Canada originally and I’ve noticed things getting really expensive in Ottawa. This hotel was great value for money! I have already recommended the hotel to other friends!
