Boasting a splendid beachfront location inside Rosario Islands National Park, the hotel is a 1-hour boat trip from Cartagena. There is a swimming pool, massage sessions are available and guests can go on snorkelling trips. The hotel and pool area were stunning. I loved the shower, it’s nice to have a small beach that you can access and the food portions were lovely, and huge!

Located in Baru, 70 metres from Cholon Bay, Aura Hotel Barú provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Featuring a shared lounge, this 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. All was fine , the beach is beautiful the only compliant about that was that the beach had a lot of seaweeds , the hotel is very beautiful it’s like a paradise white beaches blue seas , food quality and drinks are excellent despite its prices ( a little high ) but they worth it in summary 100 % recommended no regrets!

Olga and the whole staff are so sweet, I really could feel at home there after such long flight. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from all the noise in Cartagena, and you feel immediately embraced and relaxed when you walk in

Nicest people, delicious cocktails & food, a very relaxed environment. Outdoor shower epic view (we stayed on top floor). Felt very safe and no one was haranguing you, except to ask you what you want to eat or drink :) Definite highlight was going Nena Beach Club at Playa Blanca at about 4pm for sunset, which was gorgeous.

The breakfast was good, the location is very good, the staff is great! Would recommend this place for a getaway for a few days! The place is in a more relaxed part of the Playa Blanca so the big crowds aren't at your doorstep the whole time, which is nice too.
