Posada Old Town Bay

Cabañas Agua Dulce
Providencia
Boasting a sun deck area with direct ocean access, Cabanas Agua Dulce also offers an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms have private balconies with hammocks. Agua Dulce Beach is 500 metres away. Guests will get to the island via airplane or Catamaran departing from San Andres Island. The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉

Brilliant location. Worth paying extra for the sea view. You can step straight into the sea and have a lovely shallow paddle or swim in front of the Posada. Indra was very helpful and kind.

The accommodation is in a quiet location, perfect for relaxation. With the scooter, which you can rent right there, you can still get anywhere quickly. The room is very large, bright and equipped with very good AC and fan. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and everything was very clean. The room is cleaned daily and there are fresh towels. The family is very nice and helpful and we felt at home, which is why we stayed longer than originally planned.

A very lovely and helpful host in a great location very close to the best beach on the island. She gave us good recommendations and helped us hire a buggy to explore the island, which I would highly recommend. There are small supermarkets and eateries close by.

The location is amazing - close to the islands best beach and restaurant. Natalia and Saul were so welcoming. I arrived early and they found me a room to relax untik the apartment was reasy <3 also, the bed and mattress was very comfortable. Also Providencia is heaven, the people are ao friendly, the fresh fish is delicious and the diving is great. 10/10, I’ll be back.

An amazing location, a lovely house and warm welcome of the host Martha. The ocean view is spectaculair. Martha also helped us with arranging transport, washing clothes, ordering food etc. Overall we would definitely come back

Very beautiful location and nice hosts. comfortable and accommodating. Lovely hammocks to relax and enjoy the view. You can rent a scooter and book tours directly with them. We stayed for 6 nights enjoying the island life and wouldn’t mind to stay longer!
