Breakfast is served daily at the in-house restaurant, and a sharing dinner is offered at an additional charge, every night at 19:00. Guests are welcome to relax in the living rooms. The fireplace room offers access to the large private furnished garden. Such a charming and intimate place! With quirky, personal touches sprinkled throughout. We felt very much at home at Hornbækhus, and enjoyed exploring each of the nooks and crannies it had to offer. We partook in the community dinner, which was fun and delicious, and breakfast was nice as well (keep in mind, it's not a buffet - you order from a menu). Our room felt very cozy, however the real charm was coming out of the room and reading a book or enjoying a cocktail in the "living room" and going on long walks along the beach close by.

Overlooking a lake and Øresund Strait in the seaside town of Hornbæk, this classic hotel features a lake-view restaurant and a lobby bar. Free WiFi is available. Hornbæk Station is just a 2-minute walk away. I had a great experience. I had to wake up at 5am on Sunday and the staff prepared me a box for breakfast for me to pick up in the fridge at the reception. Very lovely stay!

All rooms at Marienlyst Strandhotel feature cable TV, a minibar and a seating area with a table. staff was awesome. they asked how come we made such a quick/impulse booking and when they found out about previous negative experience we were treated extra well. big kudos to them!!! breakfast was awesome, a bit crowded but super nice view from the restaurant. lounge area was great too with bonfire, board games, table tennis, pool etc. we even got 2 free drinks tickets since we were asked to wait for a couple of minutes. overall, great value for the money! we found free parking spots, although it was quiet crowded. we did not have time or interest in trying out other facilities such as pools etc. but at least could see there were plenty to choose from.
