Set by Lake Kilpisjärvi off the E8 motorway, this resort is within 7 km of the Swedish and Norwegian borders. It offers cottages and apartments with private saunas, full kitchens and free Wi-Fi.

A lakeside sauna is available on site. Arctic fishing trips, snowmobile safaris and whale watching tours can be arranged. Hiking, skiing and hunting are also popular in the surrounding area. The cabin we rentet was a amazing little cabin with all you needed for the stay. You had your own bathroom with shower, and a little kitchen with a stove and a fridge. The bed was nice, and they had a smart-tv you could watch anything with your phone or tablet 😊

The award-winning Restaurant Aanaar is located in Wilderness Hotel Juutua. The hotel also offers activities and meeting facilities. Excellent hotel! The view was amazing from both room and restaurant. Restaurant Aanaar is top quality restaurant and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. I would recommend the hotel at any time of year.

The units feature modern Scandinavian design and have a large window, which is ideal for watching the Northern Lights. The units also have tea and coffee facilities, a minibar, free toiletries and bathrobes and slippers. Wonderful and so helpful reception! Fabulous restaurant. Perfect location. Easy and safe for kids playing outside/ backyard of the room/ Villa. We can watch them through the window. Good heater to warm up and keep inside temperature under good condition. Enough space for family staying together. Great stove to warm up the room, too. and excellent sauna!

Located on top of Kaunispää Fell, Star Arctic Hotel & Activities is situated in Saariselka in the Finnish Lapland Region. Each room features large windows to view the surrounding nature and if lucky, the Northern Lights during winter. A shared sauna is also available. Out of everything I loved here, the service was the utmost. If the room is ready, the staff allows early check-in. Especially since we had a long flight hours, early check-in was like the best hospitality. Several staff members in the lobby are all kind and understanding. Breakfast was pretty luxurious even though it only ran 8-10, which made us unable to catch up one day because of the early flight. The water was strong, the sauna was fabulous, and the kitchen was cozy but had everything we needed.

The glass-roofed cabins offer the possibility to see the Northern Lights from your own cabin. A minibar, electric kettle and private bathroom with shower are standard in each cabin. It was big enough to fit a family of 4 (2A and 2C) and 2 large luggage. The sofa bed was already set up when we checked in which was amazing. Thanks to the aurora alert we got to catch the northern lights. We signed for a few activities from the hotel and loved it very much.
