We offer a range of breakfast options including continental and a full English. The Bar offers a space to relax during the day to enjoy speciality coffees and loose-leaf teas. In the evening, the bar offers cocktails and a speciality drinks menu. This is a quaint little boutique hotel with an old world charm so fitting with the vibes in Bath. The rooms were really comfortable and the staff very accommodating. I really liked having a pantry for late night ice cream cravings.

Dating back to 1880, this fine Victorian mansion is set 15 minutes’ stroll from the centre of Bath. It offers luxurious rooms with views over the Royal Crescent or the well-tended gardens as well as free parking (one space per room).

Guests can relax in the lounge with open fireplace and comfortable sofas. Location and food were amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us. Asking how we are and helping us find places to go. Our bikes were dislocated and we needed a tool to tighten them. One of the staff come out with a tool box to assist. So sweet of them. Thank you!

Warm, contemporary and attractive, Chestnut House is run by your hosts, Toni and Dawn, who pride themselves on offering superb hospitality in a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. With just 5 rooms, you can be sure of a friendly, personal service and a warm welcome. Fantastic place, quiet and close to the centre of town. Wonderful breakfast (and coffee) and the host took care of us and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely stay again if I’m back in Bath.

All rooms are elegantly decorated and offer a flat-screen TV with Freeview and a modern bathroom with power shower and luxury Caroline Henry toiletries. Delightful room, at the top of this characterful house on the hill above Bath. Very clean and comfortable. I slept very well despite a major storm outside. The staff were very helpful, particularly Emily and the breakfast team, making sure I had all I needed as a vegan, including a scrumptious breakfast. Having parking on site was very useful and I enjoyed the walk into town and even the walk back up the hill via the little hidden pathways.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. Richard, the owner, was incredibly kind—he shared the fascinating history of the home and even adjusted our breakfast time so we could leave early. He also showed us a unique 200-year-old food lift, which was such a special touch. The place was spotless and full of charm. A truly memorable experience!
