Fort William is 9.3 miles from the property, and Ballachulish village is 2.5 miles away. Everybody was very nice and friendly. Check-in and -out were extremely uncomplicated.

We have different accommodation types available - a cottage, a lodge, eco cabins, a log cabin, luxury caravans, and bunkbed rooms in our shared bunkhouse. Our accommodation comes with a flat-screen TV (except the Alpine bunkhouse rooms), dining area, kitchen, lounge, and bathroom. Kitchens include an oven/combi-oven, a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Bed linen and towels are provided. Smooth checkin, perfect location, chill and warm environment.

This modern hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, spacious bedrooms and breathtaking views over the loch to nearby mountains. Beautiful property with excellent rooms. We ate dinner at the restaurant that has wonderful views of the lake. The food was delicious and the wait staff were wonderful and accommodating. The buffet breakfast spread was large and most items were very tasty.

Other facilities at MacDonald Cabins include a terrace. Showers and toilets are located beside the hotel, 20 metres from the cabins. There is a drying room and pot wash area with access to a kettle and sink. Lovely cosy cabins with full size single mattresses. The rooms come with a TV, kettle, bug zapper and a radiator. The kitchen area was basic although we did not use it during our visit.

Free parking is possible on site and free WiFi can be accessed throughout the property. Cosy & comfortable room with an oscillating fan. Good shower. Good food. Excellent staff. Gorgeous lake view!
