Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious and comfy. Communal lounge area was comfortable and relaxing and well stocked with reading material about the area. The manager kindly ran us into town in her car. The lodge had a beautiful view. Could walk to a lot of things even though town was a car trip. Loved the location! On site bike hire was fantastic!

At the country house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. It is a nice and very clean room closed to the pier (10 min walking distance). There were different options for breakfast and apart from these options the B&B owners were offering any wishes that the guest has. Due to the strong rain all our clothes got wet and the B&B owner , without asking her, offered us to use their dryer. The B&B owners were offering a great service above our expectations. Our stay was really great with amazing host.

The prehistoric Dún Aonghasa Fort offers spectacular views of the island cliffs and is a 15-minute drive from Pier House. Or you may prefer to make your journeys around the island by a traditional horse-drawn cart, tour bus or bicycle. Visiting the many other historical and archaeological sites that Inis Mór has to offer. Pier House has all the comforts of home for our guests. All rooms are en-suite and have a TV, WiFi, telephone and hairdryer. There are tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as a desk and wardrobe. Location was amazing. Right off of the pier and a 3 minute walk to the grocery store. Loved the lounge/sitting area where we could hang out as a small group and play games or do a puzzle.

From the moment we arrived soaked off the ferry (an amazing voyage during a storm and our own fault for standing outside in it) we were welcomed in and made to feel at home. The location is perfect for exploring the island, and my gosh how beautiful the island is. The hotel feels like it’s right at the heart of the community, so warm, fun and friendly. We shared a totally wonderful New Year’s Eve there! A truly special place run by amazing people.
